Delivery Information

We now dispatch the majority of our products from our site in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Items bought and paid for by 10:00 on a weekday will be dispatched within 48 hours (where possible, excludes public holidays).

Delivery Options: 3-5 working days / Name the Day

If you prefer to ‘name the day’ please indicate this at the same time as placing your order so we can attempt to accommodate your request.

Delivery Delays:

Please expect delays by 1 working day if you live in the following areas: 
Scotland, Wales, BA, BH, BS, CF, DT, EX, NP, PL, SN, SP, TA, TQ, TR

Location Exclusions:

Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and other surrounding offshore areas. 

Harder to Reach Areas:

Your item(s) will be delivered to you through the Pallex Network. The Pallex network is a kerbside delivery, so please be prepared to have assistance when carrying the item(s) into your household.  A £20 surcharge may be required prior to delivery due to location implications.  In most cases the surcharge will be applied at checkout.

Please note that we are unable to offer any of the following services to these postcodes: Wet connection / 2 man / removal of packaging and recycle of old appliance.

Delivery Notification for Large Appliances

We request that the driver calls every customer approx. 30 minutes prior to delivery, however, this is a courtesy and cannot be guaranteed as the drivers are not permitted to use the phone whilst driving.Please ensure that you have supplied your correct and current mobile number so our transport company can text the above delivery updates and so they can call you on the day to let you know when they are on their way.

Repeat Delivery Charges

Please ensure someone is at the property to receive the delivery during the allocated time.
We offer all our customers a courier service and we make sure you are fully aware of the date & time to expect your delivery as described above.
If you are not in when the driver attempts delivery, we hope that you will understand that we will have to charge you for the repeat delivery. The repeat delivery charge is £40.00. Payment must be taken before you are able to reschedule the delivery. Please call on 0300 303 8280 to reschedule your delivery.

Upon Delivery 

Items are delivered by GS Logistics on a 1 man service. They will bring the item to a ground floor room of your choice.
Deliveries to upper floor or underground properties may incur an additional charge.

If you request it, the delivery men will remove & dispose of the packaging giving you opportunity to fully inspect your item before they leave.  An additional charge may be present for rooms/propertiies on a higher floor.

Damages

If your item arrives damaged, please highlight this when you sign the driver’s paperwork or handheld device. We also ask that you take several photos of the damaged item, including the packaging with details of how the item may have become damaged (eg poor handling) and email them promptly to care@newlifeappliances.co.uk so that we may instigate the claims procedure.

Missing Parts

You should inspect products upon delivery immediately and report back to us regarding any missing parts that you believe should be supplied with the product.  Missing parts must be reported within 7 days on retrieval of the product.

Collecting your item

You are welcome to collect your item, providing the option was available at Checkout as a Delivery Method.  Not all items can be collected unfortunately.  Collections are made from our site in Grantham - Same day collection is possible. Payment can be made by cash and via PayPal invoicing upon collection. Your item will be cleaned, shrink wrapped and secured for transport. Our staff will help load your vehicle. Upon purchasing the item, please confirm when you intend to collect. Please also ensure that you have accepted any counter offers made to you before coming to collect your item.

Our site is open Monday to Friday. 09.00am – 17:00pm.  However, a prior phone call on 0300 3038280 will be required to visit the site, so that a member of staff can be readily available for assistance.

Delivery of Small Items

Smaller items will be couriered by Hermes or Royal Mail at a lower cost. We will let you know the tracking number so you can track your order directly

Old Appliance Collection (Where available)

If opting in for our Old Appliance Collection service, please ensure that you have unplugged your chosen appliance/s and have them placed outside your property at the time of courier arrival.  We are unable to carry out this service if the item isn't prepared accordingly.  No refunds given.  One item per service payment.

Please note that we can only offer this service on particular ranges of our products depending on the courier service that deals with them.

Freestanding Appliance Installation (Where available)

If opting in for our New Appliance Installation serivice, please ensure that you have a standardised connection into your home as we cannot carry out work which is irregular or requires further modification.  No refunds will be given due to this error.

Engineer Bookings

We will not be liable for any engineer booking charges due to late deliveries.  Please do not book an engineer until you have received your product.
